NJ Passes Law to Make Dating Sites Safer

I was just browsing around the web and I bumped into a great article. It has to do with a new law that passed in New Jersey which will require online dating sites to disclose all of their security screening measures regarding their members.

This includes whether or not the sites provide background checks on their members. Although many users believe that the dating sites provide these security members, most in fact, do not.

One valuable point you can’t forget when using an online dating site is that you need to protect your individual information as much as possible. You may meet someone online and think that they’re really great, but you still need to use caution when you arrange a face to face meeting. It’s always advisable to meet in a well lit public place, and to let someone else know your plans before you go.
